Boulder is a short drive from our shop in Erie, and we're open 7 days a week: Monday to Friday 8 to 4:30, Saturday and Sunday 9 to 4:30. When it's a real emergency, it goes to the front of the line.

Some things that look like an emergency usually aren't. The City of Boulder says discolored water is usually caused by a main break, hydrant flushing or big construction nearby. Run your cold taps at full force for a few minutes. If it doesn't clear, wait about 30 minutes and try again.

What is an emergency: a burst pipe, a leaking water heater, a sewer backup, or water anywhere it shouldn't be. Shut off your main valve first, then call us.

Usually not. The city says it's most often from a main break, hydrant flushing or construction. Run cold water for a few minutes. If only the hot side is discolored, it may be your water heater, and we can check it.
